The Market

The vegetable and fruit market was not open in Marigot but the tourist junk market sure was.
Stores and marketstalls accepted US Dollars 1:1 to the Euro. A seller told us that Americans don't buy if the price is higher in Dollars than in Euros. The official currency of French St. Martin is the Euro. It's the Netherlands Antilles Guilder on the Dutch side, but US Dollars are accepted everywhere on the island.

Take it easy! Do you notice how clean everything is?

One of the tenders on its way back to Marigot.

The sun set on a busy day in St. Martin.
