St. John (1)

In 4 of the 7 ports, we used tenders to go ashore. In case of emergency, the tenders are life boats.
St. John in the American Virgin Islands was our first stop. It is a lovely island, two thirds of which are a protected national park. The water was wonderful.

The roads were narrow and steep.

The views were spectacular.

Look at that beach - a dream. If we ever go back, I will not take an expensive tour but a bus or taxi to go to this beach. It had the best water and we had only 15 minutes!
