Center Hill

Florida's towns are always good for a surprise. Rampant growth? Overbuilding? Not here. This peaceful place is on the downswing.
The beautiful high school building seems to be used as city hall. The nearest school is in the next town. We saw no gas station, no restaurant, no bar, not even a church. I am sure there is more than one, but we did not see them.

However, the place looks immaculate. The village green is mowed and the stately oaks give shade.

From far, the store fronts still look good. You will see some of them close-up tomorrow.
