Our tour tooks us around the entire island where we encountered this 6 inch plumeria-gobbling caterpillar of the tetrio sphinx moth which, by the way, is huge with its 12.5 cm wingspan but greybrown ugly.

Since I took or posted no photos of all the other animals we saw: cats and dogs, a monkey, and lots of white egrets nesting in thorny trees on St. Kitts, a soldier crab and several cat-sized iguanas on St. Martin, you should at least see this amazing, voracious caterpillar.
